In 2004 I joined the International Peace Pilgrimage for four months, walking from Melbourne to Canberra, then the length of Japan. Touching on topics of living in community, moving at a human pace, staying in Buddhist temples, carrying sacred artifacts, focusing intention and ceremony, I will share my photo-documentary and stories of this inspiring human action for community understanding, hope and empowerment.
