Amazed by the evolving synthetic sounds in psytrance, and with a hopeful desire to create some oddness of his own, the embryonic Skyhighatrist emerged. Then, locked away in a darkened room for way too long, he tinkered away on his synths, craving the misbegotten emissions and illicit twisted grooves which so demented his being. The spawn: “twisted psilocybic mindfunk” His sound - an infectious trippy elixir that makes you move your feet (and everything else…) It’s all about the wobble and having fun!! In February 2009, he released his debut split album with Galactic Monkey "Strangely Obtuse" on Catawampus Records and has been playing regularly in the UK and in Europe. With further releases on Catawampus Records planned and Festival dates in the UK and France this summer, The Cairns Winter Solstice Celebration would be the icing on the cake.
