SHORT BIO: Rhythmik is the sound project of Michael Scarlett, an electronic composer from Melbourne, Australia. Rhythmik’s music is an ever changing organism, that lives not in a genre but in it's own unique character. Each track is different from the next, and you will offen find style, speed and flow varies quite dramatically even within the one track. The music has a cinematic and theatrical quality about it, yet still is always written with a stomping dance-floor in mind. The live sets combine forest floor psychedelia with urban grunt and culture, and can pretty much garuntee a fun, and at the very least damn interesting time. This is not music for the jaded, it's music for the outrageous, for the open minds and those who love new and interesting sounds. Rhythmik's first album Picture This was released early this year on Morning Monster Records, received with a great response worldwide. New styles and new formats have been explored and produced for Winter Solstice, so definitely expect some surprises.
