Tara Soh and Kyle Page are both full time members of Australia's preeminent contemporary dance company, Australian Dance Theatre. Tandem Union is their self devised side project offering a host of multidimensional performances, ranging from contact improvisation, workshops, live theatre, sight specific works and film installations. They have toured both nationally and internationally with ADT having travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and America. Perming in some of the worlds most acclaimed venues including Sydney Opera House, South Bank Centre in London and Theatre de la ville in Paris. With a wealth of training totaling 35 years between them, with over half of this time spent full time and working professionally. This young and dynamic union offers a uniquely individual take on the arts, drawing from a host of influences from through out the world of contemporary performance. Having taught contact improvisation at workshops through out the world including at the Vienna International dance festival, Impulstanz, both Tara and Kyle have a sound understanding of contact and are well experienced at teaching safe and appropriate workshops for a range of skill levels. This represents an amazing opportunity for Winter Solstice to have these world class artists attend the festival.
