Having spent the early part of his life playing piano, drums and studying orchestral percussion at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne based artist/producer Paul Kearney has been producing electronic music since the late 90's in myriad styles and guises. Having released tracks on the Green Ant label and wowing crowds at such prestigious parties as Rainbow Serpent festival and Tribedelic festivals for many years, he teamed up with the uber funkedelic Loopus In Fabula and released tracks on Fabula Records, Milan. He has also released tracks on Well Worn Records, an album with Nine09 Records and Exo Records. More recently Paul has been back to his roots as a drummer and keyboard player playing analog synths in and writing songs for seminal Melbourne band "The Night Terrors". These days Paul is producing a sound that can be described as minimal but also explores deep rich textures and chugging funky basslines, drawing from his broad musical background and love of analog synths and all things rhythmic.
